NORTH Link + Procumo Pilot

OVERVIEW OF THE PILOT and how you can be involved

 

As part of NORTH Link’s commitment to advancing digital capabilities and to  bring economic benefits to Melbourne’s north and its businesses, NORTH Link and Procumo have partnered to Pilot a new program for NORTH Link members. This initiative allows members to collaborate and leverage their collective purchasing power via the Procumo Platform, helping to achieve cost reductions for program participants.

Members of the Buying Teams on Procumo typically enjoy savings of 17-30% or more on comparable products and services based on the usual pricing.

HOW IT WORKS

In simple terms:
  1. Register your interest in a particular Buying Team and pay a nominal deposit (around $50 to show commitment).
  2. We will co-ordinate a number of MNFG partners and place them in a MNFG Buying Team. You can also suggest what product or service and the Procumo Platform allows you to create your own Teams.
  3. As the Team numbers build, Procumo then negotiates with a number of quality suppliers based on the Specifications of that Team listing.
  4. If Procumo can’t get a great deal then all deposits are returned 100% in FULL.
  5. If a good deal is struck, then members pay the balance and it’s forwarded to the Supplier (less Procumo Fees) and the product or service is delivered.
  6. Procumo Fees work like this – but it’s all on success ! If we save you $1000 on an item, then we keep 10% of the additional savings or $100. Your Nett saving is then $900, and we did all the sourcing, negotiating and Team Building for you. That’s the real nuts and bolts of the Platform. It’s elegantly simple yet very powerful and now proven hundreds of times.

More details on the NORTH Link Pilot

  • The Pilot is open to all current NORTH Link members, however some  may be selected over others based on common purchasing behaviour during the Pilot.
  • The Pilot may include purchasing such items as Insurance, Tomatoes to Forklift repairs and more.
  • Procumo Membership Fees (Normally $500 p.a.) are waived for Pilot members and extending to 12 months free membership.
  • The Pilot may then be extended to test GEO Fencing of Suppliers that are eligible to bid, so that local NL members can enjoy the opportunity of purchasing from a winning supplier within a specific region.
  • The Pilot numbers will then be expanded further and  NORTH Link members can also participate on a preferred basis when bidding for the large parcels of customers / the Team’s total spend. 
  • A full analysis and report will be created and submitted to NORTH Link for review. If found useful, then a full rollout maybe undertaken to other MNFG and MNMG partners.
  • A 2 minute Survey to test which Top 4 Business Expenses or Inputs members wish to save on is available on this LINK. This is available to be completed by any NORTH Link member whether part of the Pilot or not.
